IT Support / System Administrator

Signatures Designs & Communications Private Limited, a leading creative agency based in Coimbatore, is seeking an experienced IT Support/System Administrator to join our team. As an IT support/System Administrator, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, including web hosting, SSL certificate management, website launching, and server-related tasks.

Location: Coimbatore

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain web hosting services, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of SSL certificates for secure website communication.
• Coordinate and execute website launching activities, including domain registration, DNS setup, and content migration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure compatibility and efficient utilization of server resources.
• Implement security measures to protect servers and websites from potential threats.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard data integrity.
• Administer Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
• Set up and manage mail servers and email services to ensure efficient communication.
• Perform routine system hardware and software checkups to ensure optimal performance and address any issues proactively.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, and load balancing, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT support professional or System Administrator for a minimum of 2-5 years.
• Strong knowledge of web hosting platforms, such as cPanel, Plesk, or similar.
• Familiarity with SSL certificate management and website launching processes.
• Experience in server administration, including Linux and Windows environments.
• Understanding of server security best practices and ability to implement necessary measures.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting server-related issues and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, with a preference for candidates holding AWS certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
